It's actually pretty easy, and searching for your evening companion is a big part of Thai nightlife's appeal. There's an element of random adventure when going to bars and gogos, taking your time looking, flirting, and playing around. There's a casual, sensual ease (with more than a hint of sexuality). Unlike back home, the chance of getting 'lucky' is guaranteed. However, the chance of it also being 'fabulous' is not.

Cost Okay, all this sounds wonderful, but how much is it going to cost? Not much. Certainly far, far less than going to Las Vegas - or virtually any other holiday spot in the Western world.
And just what do you get for your money?
Well, for a lot less than what you would pay for a single hour of fun in the West - which, often as not, amounts to little more than going to McDonalds for an unremarkable and unmemorable meal - would buy you a veritable feast in Thailand.
Let's put it this way: In the West, the girls want you to just hurry up and finish. In Thailand, it's more like the girls want to stay with you for as long as possible. (You may not be quite so enamored, but that's a different matter...)
For something like US$125-200 (€95-155, A$190-300) total, you can easily have a great night out on the town. Dance, drink, share dinner and bed with a honey for the entire night (and onto the following morning if you're up for it).
And we're not talking about doing this cheaply or with "less than ideal" company either.
You can also spend considerably less if you prefer to skip the romance and "only" want a couple hours for about US$30.
